Meet Taz, a Companion Animal Fund Grant Recipient

Taz is a male Plott Hound Mix who was brought to Jordan Valley Animal Clinic with a great deal of swelling and pain on May 25. Taz had a distal third spiral fracture of the right hind limb along with a proximal third simple fracture of the fibula. Even with help from the foundation, the owners are still struggling to come up with the remaining money for surgery and have elected conservative management of the injuries at this time which have significantly reduced the amount of swelling and Taz is much more comfortable.
